Technical overview
Our tender-management service is a real-time platform independent online bid, where bidders can compete with each other for delivering or buying products or services. The organizer has the option to choose participants from business databases and can also initiate the participation of existing or possible new suppliers. The organizer can invite selected participants using a code received at registration. Participants can accept or deny an invitation. Participants can make their bid during the auction. The length of the auction is set in advance, but it can be modified automatically or manually during the process. Communication is secured by 128-bit SSL technology. Special attention is paid to data security; the tender-management server hosts the minimum necessary functions for the application and can be accessed only via a proxy server. Servers placed locally have front-end and portal functions only.
